Need some more help filling AN

Post by jaygajjar » Wed Aug 18, 2010 2:38 pm

Thank you very much for reply
I've got one more query for form AN

In
section 1.27 Your mother's full name & maiden name
shall i put "current name & maiden name" or just full name with surname as it's in passport??

Also as I'm applying for my wife, daughter as well, Is it OK to use same two referees in all 3 forms?

For payment sheet what name should I put as an applicant as I'm paying for all 3 in one?? or should i fill 3 different payment slips??

& Finally in MN1, do I have to fill Section 2.1 If the child is resident in the United Kingdom or a British overseas territory (see page 8 of the guide), please give date and place of first arrival.

My daughter was born here & I'm applying under 1(3)

Thank you once again

since you didnt supply the test certificate on your ILR application, just fill the naturalisation section and include the certificate as part of your supporting documentation

on the form where it says,
"I passed the Life in the UK test to qualify for settlement."
This means that you have already sent them as a proof when applied for ILR while you didnt and also it dosnt matter when you passed it before applying your ILR or after getting ILR.

Now you need to provide it as proof for naturalisation.

Good Luck.

i think i put current name and at the end put 'nee Maiden name',

same referees is fine

i was applying for me and spouse so filled in one form and put my name on it.

i would say maybe put child on their own form seeing fee is separate to your joint one with wife

you can write in there 'born in UK'

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/nee

in other words write your mothers name as it is now and at the end write 'nee' maiden name, eg Janet Jones nee Williams.

couple of more things please....

As we were living at same address for last five years, Is it fine if i leave section 1.17 (Please provide your addresses for the past five years.) blank & fill only section 1.16 (present address)??? we've lived somewhere for 6 months in between but I kept all my bank statements & address on present address (same address for last 5 years)...& is it fine if i don't fill them six months address in ??

For my wife,
In section 3.1 (What is your occupation?)
should i leave it blank as she is house wife??

Thanks a lot

your wife can put housewife or unemployed. that should be ok

you say you have lived at them same address for 5 years but that you have also lived somewhere for 6 months.

In my opinion you should fill in 1.17 even if it is the same address or at least put 'as above' or something like that

Yes. I had the same situation as you. I did as f2k advised (putting the same address twice in sections 1.16 and 1.17.) The application went through no problems.

I think they will be alright with either leaving the DATE TO field either blank or writing present because they will make the link as it is your current address also

Hi all,
one doubt. when applying through NCS do we need to bring the child to council for for any MNI application?
