Hi ,
I was asked by my sister in law this question so i promised her i could get her a answer for this?
Questin is my sister in Law entertered Uk to join her parents,as a dependant (Child) and was granted Indefinete Leave to enter now she got two children who were born in the United Kingdom her husband still has the spousal Visa,can she apply for a british passport for the both children who were born in the UK.sice she got ILE please reply.

Section 1(3) applications - children born in the United Kingdom to parents who are now settled in the United Kingdom wrote:If the child's parent has become settled in the United Kingdom or becomes a British citizen, the child will have an entitlement to register as a British citizen. This registration would be under section 1(3) of the British Nationality Act 1981.
