Posted : 4th Oct
Acknowledged that Surrender Certificate is being processed : 22nd Oct
Received back : 27th Oct.

BTW - credit where it is due - VFS staff were very polite and after they lost my SD envelope , they paid to send it by DX .

Hi,
I applied for surrender certificate via vfs on the 9th. Still no joy. The website says as processing. Not sure if I should be worried. It is always a panic when it comes to hci. How long does it take these days?. They have a premium rate number which I am hesitant to call. Did any apply this year and aware of the time scales?. The web site it takes around 4 days and it is almost a week now. Panic panic panic !!

I submitted my SC application at VFS Hayes office in person on April 1st.
The status still shows as In Process at the VFS Global page.

What is the number to call to check on progress?
