Hi All,
I have been a mutant member of this forum for some time.. and want to thak you all for helping others with their doubts and concern.. its so nice of you guys..
I am also one of those members who need some help .. i have some doubt regarding the earning part (tier 1 general visa).
I have been employed for almost 5 years and my salary differs every month as i work for a sales program because it involves sales & performance incentives.
My first question would , when i would have to show my earning through salary slip , can i include my the earning including my sales incentives which comes out to be 64k per month or the salary after taxes and PF/VPF which is 58 or the basic as per CTC which only includes basic+HRA+Conveyance allow+Performance incentives+special allow.
I have the salary slip which has the break down of everything. I would like to share it with you all for better understanding.
Basic Salary 10333.00
House rent allowance(HRA) 5167.00
Conveyance allowance 800.00
Special allowance 4044.00
Performance incentive 6080.65
Other incentive 25000.00
Sales incentive 13100.00
CIS R and R Awards 1500.00
Deductions Total
Provident fund - employee 1160.00
Income tax deductions 4905.00
Labour welfare fund 5.00
Total Gross Earnings 64712.14
Gross Deductions 6070.00
Net Salary Payable 58642.00
My gross earning for the year 2009 was around 5.5 lakhs however my CTC is around 3.5lc.. what do i need to take into consideration when processing the docs CTC or Gross after taxes and PF.

You can consider Total Gross Earnings of Rs.64712.14 for claiming points.
Also ensure that Net salary payable tally's with the amount credited in your bank account.

Definition of gross salary is salary before any deductions - there is no such thing as 'gross after tax'!

Before Tax. All the amount "earned", presented on the salary slip, excluding reimbursements.
