I would really appreciate if someone answers my following query.
I got my initial HSMP in 2008 and in 2010 I have got my HSMP extension (Tier 1) valid up to March 2013.
Remarks on my passport
Indefinite leave to remains
No resource to public funds
No employment as a doctor in training
Now I am going to apply my husband visa as a Tier1-dependent. My Question is
If I will apply my husband visa after 29th Nov 2010 does my husband should pass the spouse English test?
I understand that English requirement is only for settled person and British national.
The husband, wife, civil partner, unmarried partner, same-gender partner, fiance(e) or prospective civil partner of a UK citizen or a person settled in this country.
Does my current status is settled person as I m on Tier1 (Extension) Visa and no more extension required?
Thanks,
Rubi
If you applied for extension of stay under PBS then the stamp should not state "Indefinite leave to remain". You should contact UKBA to have the correct visa affixed in your passport - before your spouse applies for dependent visa.rubina20102010 wrote:Indefinite leave to remain
