Home Office reference number that is requested in the AN form is NOT quoted in any of the visa stickers, be it the ILR or any other visa sticker. Instead, it is quoted in the Home Office correspondence that you may have received in the past. That said, providing that number is by no means a must, it’s just for their convenience. I personally don’t think that failing to provide that number makes any meaningful difference to how quickly they handle an application.

Hi Everyone,
God is great, we will always be surprised by his blessings. Never lose hope keep praying and u will be blessed.
I would encourage you to apply if had Humanitarian Protection.
I asked the Home Office to use their discretion to disregard the time of being free from immigration time restrictions during the last 12 months as i made a successful application for indefinite leave to remain 15 months before my naturalisation application but the delay in reaching a decision was due to something that was not my fault. I wrote this on page 14 of the application form.

NCS or Postal: Postal

Date of receipt of approval: 15 September (2nd class Royal Mail)

Thank You very Much Jesus Chris, I can't thank you enough.

Would be happy to answer any questions.

01516 72 56 26.

Btw, regarding your other question, try and ring the Home Office on 01516 72 56 26 to check if your application has been passed onto a case worker. I don't think that they would let you know about that in writing. Plus, I think that it's down to the goodwill of the person picking up the call whether they'll give you some colour on the situation or not if you call in less than 6 months after the application has been submitted.

Many Thanks Generalisimus,

I called them today, they told me That descion had already been made on my application on 14th Sept, however they could not tell me what the descion was? She said i am going to have to wait until i receive the letter, Letter has not yet been despatched and she said it would be done in next couple of days.

So frustrating that they could not tell me what the decsion was?
