Plz Urgent response needed-Maintanance funds for dependents

Post by ash210 » Mon Sep 13, 2010 9:33 pm

Hi,
I would be very thankful if any senior members or moderators reply to my query
Me and my wife are in uk i am swithing to Tier1 from PSW and its a initial application ( i have two dependents, my wife and my new born son)
Now for the maintainence funds in my account i have just about enough to show only my maintainance fund and my wife has around 2k in her account which i plan to show for her maintainence but can i show my baby's in my wife account as well? if i cannot then the only option left for me is to apply for both of us and leave his for the time being and apply later on.
what do u suggest plzzzzzzzzzzz reply
Kind Regards

See the following on Page-14 in the PBS Dependant Guidance Notes:
Evidence for Applications Made Under Tiers 1, 2 and 5
88.The documents required by Appendix E of the Immigration Rules are specified below.

Personal bank or building society statements covering the three month period immediately i) before the application. The personal bank or building society statements should clearly show:

• the name of the main applicant and/or the family member making the application, or (for children only) the name of the other parent who is also legally present in the United Kingdom;

Question different from the topic
The Link posted - is that only for In-Country applications?
I guess for out-of-country apps one needs to use the vfs form and guidance?
Thanks in advance

The link provided is for policy guidance and this is for both in-country and out of country applicants..the application forms are different.

These Guidance notes are sort of generic. First point of reference for out of Country applicants is this link
