Hello,

I want to ask that my entry clearance is for 3 years. If I apply for extension after 3 years, for how long my Tier 1 will be extended ?

Thanks
Memphis

Hello Sushdmehta,

I have read on ukvisas website that initially visas (Tier 1) are issued for 2 years. In my case it's 3 years.

Also the extensions are for 3 years.

Could you please shed light on this ?

Please help me on one more thing.

I simply want to ask you that my visa period has already started. How soon should I travel without affecting my ILR with next extension ?

regards
Memphis

If 2 now, then 3 at extension. If 3 now, then 2 at extension.

Travel within 28 days of visa issue date.

it is strange to hear that you have 3 years visa.. rules have been changed ?
or they simply choose who to give 3 and who not to :)

How come you got 3 years period visa as initial applicant?

Do you have extremely good conduct in present country? :)
Jokes apart, congratulations.
