I am aware of my typo thanks I'm sure you have many a time have intentionally/unintentionally had typing errors in previous posts.

And I was not even implying if they are or not ''worthless to the rest of mankind'' in other words if u can't be helpfull don't be a jerk.

my case is different tasawar.my daughter is a British Passport holder .There was no response from mp or the very standard response from BHC>
i emailed to british high commision on behalf of my daughter who iosa british citizen and her mother is stuck here and my daughters vaccination is being effected.The consular general asked the ECO to contact me.

So actually the ECO was asked to contact me and she was already contacting my husband.

As i had my daughter in Uk and they have not billed me they are asking us this question.

salaam guys,

I hope you all are well.

My wife applied on the 21st june. Last Monday was our 12 weeks done. Last time I checked my employers weren't contacted.

My only concern is my financial state. I know I have asked for your advise before, but I get paid weekly. And I get approximately get paid Â£400/week 53 times a week, after tax.

My rent is Â£925 + Â£90 tax + Â£50 utilities plus I reckon I would spend Â£200 more on living cost (MAX). Now considering every quarter I get paid 5 times in a month (as there are five paying days in a month), do you guys think I should be worried about them questionning my earnings?

I am quite concerned as they havent contacted my employers yet.

Please let me know your thoughts.

tk786 I'm guessing your employer should be contacted in the next week or two.

With regards finances there are loads of informative posts on here, all referring to having above a certain level left over after rent/mortgage, council tax and loan repayments. It's approximately Â£105 per week that you need to have left over, but if you search on here you will find the exact value.

Please let us know and update your status on the list when you are aware that your employers have been contacted.

Tasavar... whats the latest onure update.. have they called u to collect ure passport etc?

Im in the august bunch so i guess some time left yet but I PRAY that visa happens atleast big eid! If was known to happen that there will be a great rush when they introduced the english test...lots went over to get married and submit paper b4 the test comes into action.. I guess thats what anyone would do. I hope its not too much of a delay...its so hard being away from ure loved..u have a grand wedding and have a lovely time and then come bak and dont see them for ages!!

Inshallah I pray to Allah everyday that all genuine visa cases are successful first time.. Just gta sit tight keep busy and wait and hope the time passes by... If u applied in August- and whenever ure employer gets contacted make sure u let me know! tc and good luck

i was just messing about on my comp and just b4 i was going to switch it off i though i would check the the application status and was expecting to see being processed but no, it has changed to collect your application as a decision has been made on 17/09/10. They must have updated it late on friday coz im sure i checked. Im really really nervous about the decision, i spoke to my fiance afew hours ago and we had no idea at the time and its too late tonight to call him as he will be asleep. So i guess i will know sometime next week.......I'll keep u updated.

no it is not necessary but reading this forum i think they are contacting many more employers cause they are tightening there borders and becoming more vigilant

They contact most but not all sponsor's employers. They are less likely to contact you if you are self employed as you are your own employer.

The UKBA was issued with guidance following an inspection of Pakistan spousal visa applications to attempt to contact 100% of sponsors' employers.

Does anyone know if the landlord is contacted?also for fiance visa we had a provisional booking for our wedding at the registry office in oct. I never thought it would have taken this long. Would they contact the registry office to confirm booking?
