Verification

Post by Junior0300 » Tue Apr 04, 2006 5:43 pm

What kind of Verification does the ILR team make while granting the extension.

Do they call the employer??

Any experiences would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Obviously I am not trying to send them fake salary slips. I am concerned only because my employer does not know anything about my status and I would prepare him in advance if they do call employers

I've done wp to hsmp switch a year ago and doing my hsmp extention now. I don't think they contact the employer. As long as your bank statements or payslips look authentic I don't think there's need to ask your employer.

I called up the home department [FLR IED Section] and I was told that even Home office is not too sure about it whether it will be 3 years or 4 years. But with in 10 days the decision will be taken. so lets us wait and see.
According to me they should give 4 yrs extension.

drpanditji,

that is superb, we were very concerned about this, now we can get 4 years extension, at least we do pay 2 extension fee. I will apply in May. Many people say it is very hard for us to get a mortgage in the 1st year of hsmp visa, I do get a mortgage, but I dont wanna sign all documents until I get my extension.

Please could you let me know if you have complete URL to latest FLR(IED) form please. Hoping it will allow me to download. In mean time I am also searching in the forum was there already URL available.

Thanks

rhino,

I think. that should be okay. Anyway today only I sent for hsmp extension. Mine also going to expire on 15th June so I applied before 2 months. I will let you know soon how it went.

One more thing recently I enquired with Homeoffice about same thing and they told me it is okay as long as you will able to prove economically active

Jaas,

You send HSMP application today and your vias expires on 15th June, you applied 2 months and 5 days early. When you call to home office, are your sure they said it is ok? I really wanna apply earlier as well.

Post by technician » Sat Apr 15, 2006 12:08 pm

Hi All,

I am very happy to know that they are now giving extension for 4 years. But some have got still 3 years extension. Why is it so??

Shall I wait for some more days to file for extension.?? I have prepared my papers and collected all the relavant documents.

Please advise??

Not an issue for extension

Post by technician » Mon Apr 17, 2006 5:19 pm

hello bergdorf,

See they are giving extensions on the basis of efforts made on job applications and rejection letters. SO the question of getting help from friend or a relative does not make an issue.

This might be an issue when going for PR.

This is my thinking and opinion. Needs to be confirmed by seniors and experienced moderators.
