how much savings required to show

Post by rohit6778 » Sat Apr 08, 2006 12:50 pm

Hi all

I am in Oman and planning to apply for HSMP. I am an Indian national and I remit all my savings back to my home. I want to know how much savings is sufficient to show for getting approval or for applying EC?

Regards
Rohit

At least you must show you are capable to support yourself in the UK without work for at least 3-6 month. As in my case last time when I apply for the working holiday maker visa I provide more than GBP 4000 in the savings. Anyway it depends on the case worker, to play safe the more savings will be better.
