Supporting Documentation - Originals and photocopies

Post by lindav » Mon Sep 20, 2010 11:41 am

Hi Guys,

The newly updated Visa Website launched today on the supporting documentation page states we are supposed to submit originals and photocopies.

I submitted my application and supporting documents last week but this is the first time i have seen that i was supposed to submit photocopies as well as originals.

Is this a new requirement? Would it apply to me?

Linda

Hi Linda,

I submitted my document today @India.
I had photocopies with me but VFS told that they are ok with originals only.
Thus, I didn't submit any photocopies.

Photocopies should be a non-issue.

I heard we need to submit a Xerox of the complete application?
Isn't that true?
I'll be applying from Delhi, don;t I need to provide copy of VAF9 form and the documents etc?

I had read it too and thus got the xerox of documents with lots of 'unnecessary' pain.

Also, VFS (Pune, I can vouch for) do have photocopy as well as photograph facility INSIDE the office itself, so no worries dear.

Photocopy was 1/- and photograph was 100/-
