tier 1 visa and name change

Post by maximux79 » Mon Sep 20, 2010 9:35 pm

Hi All, Right now I'm in UK on tier 1 VISA (valid untill august 2012). I would be eliguible for ILR by June 2011 (if the rules remains the same).

I wish to change my name from Xy Z to X z Y. I'm an indian national, and as per guidelines, I need to get a new passport. My query is, should i need to get a new stamping from UK homeoffice to reflect the change of name?

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
