Post by tvsgold » Wed Sep 22, 2010 8:37 am

Hi All,

I am on Tier 1 in UK for the last 2.5 Years & would be applying for my Wife's Dependant Visa in India. So For maintenence fund I am Maintaining 800+533=1333 £ in my HSBC Current Account. This is also the same Current account where i Receive my Salary !!

So My query is the Monthly Paper Statements which i Receive via post (Royal Mail ) from HSBC at my home address is good enough to show as the Proof of Maintence fund ?

or Do i Need to show any more documents Signed or Stamped from HSBC bank for Maintence Proof ?

Kindly Recomend !!

Statements you receive by post are original statements and satisfy the requirement.

Thanks Arun !!

so basically the Paper Statements which are comming from Post monthly from the HSBC banks are good enough & doesnt need any Signature or Stamp from the bank ? (As it doesnt contain any stamp or siganture)

& no other documentation related to Maintenence fund is required if i provide last 4 months monthly paper statements from HSBC to prove that the i am maintaing Maintanence of 1333 £ ?

kindly advise !!

As already mentioned above, the paper statements received by post are sufficient and do not require any stamp or signature.

Even i am in a simmilar situation,...Thanks for your help Arun
So what i understood from the above discussion is that If the applicant is providing the original Paper statements then NO OTHER DOCUMENTATION is required apart from the monthly paper Statements for proving the maintenence fund ?

I will try again. The paper statements received by post are sufficient and do not require any stamp or signature. You do not need any other documentation if this account has enough funds for the stipulated time, to prove maintenance fund requirement!!!
