no.. you can only ask your visa to begin for 3 months after the date of application.. which means end of December..

We just submitted our docs today at VFS hyderabad - it was a pretty smooth process and we were done in 45 mins. We had scheduled an appt before hand.
If anyone has any specific questions I will be happy to help. Do ensure that your bank statements have the bank logo and are preferably on the letter head - if thats not possible, have a supporting letter from bank. We saw a few ppl being asked to get the bank statements again since they were on the perforated sheets

Hi Simic,
Could you please help me on this..
I have all 12 month's payslips..but for one month the amount mentioned in the payslip is not matching(slight difference) with the amount credited in the bank as salary due to some company financial crisis...this issue is mentioned as a note in the payslip in the bottom as system generated...
So can i have that note as the proof...or will BHC will be agreeing it ??
kindly help me on this issue..
Thanks in advance..

rajima - how slight is the difference? If the payslip that has the note has the sign and seal of the company and you have taken the lower amount to claim points (if that makes any difference) I dont see a problem - just to be safe, however I would take a letter from your organization explaining the difference - i am not an expert so this just my opinion.

I will be applying visa coming monday.
I was just going through the forum... People suggested that it will be good to have the bank statement in bank letter head...
I have got the ICICI bank statement which was printed out using a dot matrix printer but not on A4 paper ... It was different paper but it bears the bank logo on each page... I have also got the bank seal and sign in each page... Hope this is OK... Please confirm

One urgent question...
On verfying the documents i found that
1. Salary credit bank statement is taken on 14th aug 2010
2. But maintainence funds statement is taken on 25th sep 2010
I read somewhere that the statements should not be more than one month old
Do i need to get a new statement from the bank
... Please advise

@ Magesh you will need to take the salary credit statement once again - they wont accept if its more than 30 days old.

The 30 day old statement rule only applies for maintenance fund statements. If the statements for salary credit are different, they can be taken any time as long as all the salary credits you are claiming are covered.

Hi there. I have almost the similiar situation. The salary on my payslip is slightly differs from what is credited on my account. This happens due to the fact that i receive my salary from germany and during conversion i loose certain amount, sometimes it can be 30 pounds sometimes 20 ... anyway , im planning to give explanation about this situation on the seperate paper. to get such letter from my employer will take around 1 month as the head office is in hamburg it takes them ages to process any requests coming from employees.

I am planning to apply on 5th of october. But I have a question : I will be getting bank statement for 90 consecutive days as required, the only issue is to get a letter from the bank. and our banks give letter stating the closing balance not that i had the requested amount for 90 days. So can i just go with the official bank statement (stamped and signed) without obtaining letter stating that i had 2800 pounds for 90 consec days?
thanks a lot

Yes you can do as you have metioned above.
If you are showing just one account statement, highlight the minimum amount over the 90 day period using a marker.
That should be enough. The covering letter from bank should mention that they are providing you statement from XXX date till YYY date and they are authentic and true.
Thanks,
Sumit.

'Statements should be one month old' - This is only applicable for maintennace funds.
For earnings, any consecutive 12 month period before 15 months on the date of application is considered correct.
Please read the guidance properly before creating doubts for yourself as well as other applicants on this forum!!!
Thanks,
Sumit.
