Download form off the website and print it off. black or white/ colour doesn't make a difference.
Make sure to make 3 copies of all your paperwork. Hence they will accept copies in black/white.

I think this is becoming overly confusing with the list, so many people change their status, when one gets added sometimes someone doesnt copy it from the right place.

Very good idea, much easier to read and clear. There is a few concerns
1) only you can change it, everyone would need to rely and wait for you to pickup info from the thread then update list.
If your unable to update list? e.g away, busy, work, etc
If a few or all can update list would be a better option.

2) New members whom join would not know the list exists, whereas now it is repeated but on the pages as you read through. It wouldn't be visible. A link would need to be placed to ensure it can be reached easily unless we place a link in our signatures so it can be quickly accessed.
It needs to be placed somewhere where all can read and access without going through pages to find link

If moderators can assist with an area on the page so we can have a link saved or if they can come up with a table format where we are all able to update list that would be a good idea.

Get your appeal in soon as Insha Allah it should be granted.

You say you need a solicitor? where abouts are you from in pakistan?
May be someone knows family friends around there whom may know of a good solicitor.
What about here in UK?

tasawar I am truly sorry to hear about your decision, keep persevering and since the appeal is heard in the UK you would probably be better advised to use a solicitor in the UK as the appeal is by the sponsor in the UK. If your sponsor is in the UK it is they that need to arrange this.

It looks like they are trying to reduce the waiting time back down to three months.

I f its a reason in which eco is right it is very unlikely they will overtur n it.So first ask the lawyer fresh application or appeal.
Appeal is very expensive in UK and costs around 1000 1400 pounds while 300 pounds for appliactions fresh.

Now you can go ffor written or oral appeal.Send the appeal if you finally decide to abu dhabi and not croydon UK as that takes a month longre.But i do not know if in your case they have mentioned abu dhabi as all settlement applicationd go to UK.

The immigration and advisory service is one good organization and recignized by high commision.

Also on the rfeusal formthey have given addresses of all the firms of lawyers they accept .try using that.

Maryam Thank you very much first of all on refusal letter they mention the adress to send appeal to immigration tribunal chamber in Leicester and my waif lives there aswell and other thing is can i send my appeal to abu dhabi? and ECO said in refusal letter he do not believe that our marriage is subsisting and because my wife is working part time he is also not satisfied that she can maintain me with out of public funds and even i had job offer letter in it but he says now a days its is not possible in UK that someone give you job . 281(iii) 281(v) he used the same refusals as he did last time.
so please help you if you advice me something i will appreciate.

i had one question you said they refused the application on the same points as last time . After your decision last time did you not work on improving thoses points? or did you submit the new applictaion with the same evidence. Also Whats the montly NET income your mrs showed on the application ?

have you read the form of refusal in detail.
If possible can you send me the form scan it and pm it to me,cause i have met a number of lawyers in my case and they somtimes do not cover all angles and we suffer in the end .

i am not sure cause i think if lawyer says appeal only then appeal otherwise dont and take opinion of 2 or 3 lawyer s problem is you are in mirpur i know lawyers in lahore cardiff london barry island

You have ias office in mitpur try going there they will charge 2600 for registration

people are right appeal from england but first get this sorted out is appealing if any benefit

Yes, it's three months from the visa issue date. Are you certain your employer was not contacted? There have been a few people (decreasing recently) who have been issued visas without employer contact so I wouldn't worry unduly. Please keep us updated.

At least you know a decision has been made. In my humble opinion a long wait for collection can only be a good thing as it would suggest the passport is in the queue for a visa to be issued rather than being returned straight to the VAC (only my personal theory!).

It also seems ISL are a bit slow for notifying 'ready for collection' status in comparison with other VACs. Insha'Allah you will have good news for us soon.

You could try emailing your MP who could then possibly help speed up the return of passport or email them directly and ask for the decision after another week or so. Did they say don't contact them for two weeks after your last email?

Mkak im waiting to hear good news Insha Allah from yourself very soon.
It has been over 2 weeks now since you had email regarding decision. I hope its not that long that status will change to ready for collection. Your employers also been contacted so everything's more or less in order.
Shak and Tasawars were a day after yours at different VAC and have had results. Maybe ISB are slow?, guess you may need to email them again just to track where your passport is and status. Shouldn't really take that long

Yes, it's three months from the visa issue date. Are you certain your employer was not contacted? There have been a few people (decreasing recently) who have been issued visas without employer contact so I wouldn't worry unduly. Please keep us updated.

I supplied an employee letter, on the letter headed paper from my employers, from the HR dept confirming all of my employment details. On top of that, I also provided the actual employment contract. In the form, I provided my line manager's contact details as well, but she was not contacted. I then contacted the HR and they confirmed that no contact has been made via email, phone or post.

There are two ways of looking at it - one is bad, and the other is good that they didn't feel the need to do any further checks as I provided sufficient evidence of my employment. I am just really worried. Do you think it may have something to do with the company you work for?

londongood, my wife was contacted on friday evening that her documents have arrived back and she is going to go pick them up on Monday. I am really nervous and praying that the visa is on the passport.

mu huband sent them an email on thursday and they did not tell date of decision nor the nature..they said wait 2 more weeks n then contact again ...
he has asked them date of decision in every email,,but they dont tell,,,,i dont get that... whats wrong in telling decision date....

Yes it is possible. I presume you submitted plenty of payslips. It used to be the case that they only checked up on smaller less well known employers but they check on most if not all now. It's not bad news though, as you say the evidence you submitted could meet their requirements leaving no reason for contacting your employer.

Yes it seems strange considering they have informed other people. Anyway you can guess the decison was made around the time your employer was contacted looking at the applicants who know the date of employer contact and decision date.

was wondering if anyone knows if there is a limit to how old attested documents can be as i have documents attested from march this year.

also when sending in the property deeds to show who owns a property is it just the front page or the second page with the property plan as well
