Tier 1 Maintainance Period: 90days or 3 months

Hello,

As per guidance or rule, its 90 days maintainance period for Tier1.
But, some people suggest to maintain funds for 3 months period (for safe side)?
My case:
Start Date: 30-Jul-2010 End Date: 27-Oct-2010 90 Days
OR
Start Date: 30-Jul-2010 End Date: 30-Oct-2010 3 Months

Please suggest.

The guidance for Tier 1 clearly states 90 days!

However unless you have shortage of funds after 27 Oct 2010, you can take start date as 1st of a particular month till last date of the third month i.e. 1st of Aug till 31st Oct.

There is no shortage of fund.
Only issue was that 30-31 Oct are Sat/Sun and I want to apply for Bank Statement (online) before Sat/Sun i,e 28-Oct, so that I could get the same in 4 working days and apply for Tier1 asap.

Statement spanning over 90 days should suffice..good luck!!
