Any idea when the rules might change ?

Post by cesc4legend » Mon Sep 27, 2010 6:45 pm

Hi,
Till mid July , the qualifying points for Tier 1 visa was 75 points and then they increased it to 80.
Earlier I was able to qualify as I could get 25 points from my income and reach the reqd 75 points. But now I just fall short in income (I need 50k pound income but get around 46k) and cant get 30 points. :(
I am applying from India.
Any idea when or if the rules may change to bring down the qualifying points to 75 points ? ...

Don't think anyone can tell you that.

Based on recommendation from Migration Advisory Committee, the government may change the rule (easier or more difficult) from time to time.

Don't plan your life based on speculation.

With govt. aiming to bring down number of non-EU migrants, it is highly unlikely that qualifying points will be reduced.

IMHO ...
