Tier 1 Dependant - Main applicant still in home country

Hi,

I have got my Tier 1 visa & my wife will soon apply for a dependant visa. I want to know if my wife can apply even if I have not secured a job in the UK & we have not finalized a place to stay. We plan to travel together once I get a job offer & then sort out stay.

My Queries:
1) Can my wife apply even before I have gone to the UK?
2) What information do we fill in the forms where relevant questions are asked about the main applicants job & place where he is put up?
3) What are the chances of the dependant visa getting approved?

Note: Document are in place along with maintenance funds.
