I received my ILR today, for certain this time - I got my solicitor to check twice while she was on the phone telling me.

My timeline is in the 14 year thread for those that are interested. However I wanted to post my thanks on this thread to those 10 year applicants that have supported me over the past 8 months. It's meant a lot and I will never forget that support.

My wife applied around the end of March 2010 and we received her Passports back stamped with her Indefinite Leave which was issued on September the 17th

So that took about nearly 6 months to get ,which is what they now saying is the processing time these days

I received my passport back with PR today (10 year - student applied on 10 Aug). Thanks for the valuable information posted on this forum which is remarkable.

But, I sent my spouces passport for 2 year visa extension yesterday only with a cover letter 'my passport is still in homeoffice....", I don't know what will happen ? Do they ask again my passport ???? I hope they take reference of my application, Don't they ?

If you are applying for extension - 3 month's Bank statement - spouce; 3 month's bank statement - yourself or Pay slip; your passport if you get before hand; otherwise copy of HO letter and cover letter why your spouce not sending your passport, photos and recent passport. That's it. good luck.
