Need Confirmation

Post by Dr-Java » Tue Apr 11, 2006 2:17 pm

Hi All,

One of my friend told me today that Home office has added one more year to get indefinate stay in UK. It is now 5 years rather than 4 years.

Can you please confirm it that people how are on HSMP they can apply for indefinate stay after 5 years rather than 4 years?

Thanx

Dr. Java

Dear

Thank you for your email.

You must now complete 5 years before you can apply for indefinite leave
to
remain. As such, you will have to apply for a 1 year extension to your
HSMP
visa in March 2008.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
