life in UK test or ESOL for BC

to apply BC. is Life in UK test a must? or Esol is also acceptable? :roll:

Hi all

I have confused with ESOL and life in UK test.

I am a PR now and got thePR after HSMP judicial review route. I have passed the life in UK test
Is it required to pass the ESOL too prior to aplicationfor naturalisation?
Please advise

so with only the ESOL certificate, is it good enough when applying for british citizenship?
