Few Questions regarding HSMP

Post by zu79 » Tue Apr 11, 2006 10:13 am

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for HSMP in a month's time but need to find answer to following questions

I am planning to claim points as mentioned below

Age :- 5
Education :- 15
Work Exp :- 25
Past Earning :- 25
Partner :- 10

Total :- 80

Few questions that are bothering me.

1. Employer Reference

I have around 5 years of experience in IT-Mainframes. But i have employer reference of only 2 years 2 months avaiable as i m unable to get employer reference from my current company. Is it fine if i claim only 2 years graduate exp even after having 5 years exp. Will showing less exp affect my chances??. I m still able to manage 80 points. Did anyone go thru similar situation.

2. Past earnings
I am planning to show Tax returns, Bank Statments and Attested Wage slips from my current employer as earnings proof. My question is if i show earnings documents from my current employer but do not show employer reference of my current employment, will that affect my chances of getting approval??

Please help.

>> I think you should accquire reference from you current employer to make your case straigh forward and simple otherwise there could be complications

I am planning to show Tax returns, Bank Statments and Attested Wage slips from my current employer as earnings proof. My question is if i show earnings documents from my current employer but do not show employer reference of my current employment, will that affect my chances of getting approval??

>> It does not makes sense to me why you want to do this, i think it creates confusion. i will not recommend this

Thanx

I tried to get Employer reference from my current employer but they would not provide me in the detailed format as required for HSMP. So i am to thinking of providing following evidence

Employment

1. Appointment letter of current company - 2 years
2. Employer Reference of previous company - 2 year 2 months

I will be claming experience points for only 2 years for which i have employer reference.

Earnings
1. Tax Returns 2005-2006
2. Payslips 2005-2006 (12) (Current Employer)
3. Bank Statement 2005-2006

Even after claiming only 2 years exp, i am still able to manage 80 points. But i am confused as to whether that will have any adverse impact on my approval chances.
