Processing time with AEO (London)

Post by H143 » Sun Apr 09, 2006 2:38 am

Hi,

I wondered if anyone has any idea about this please? I applied as a skilled worker through London last July via my lawyer. We got the standard letter back saying we won't hear from them for 3 years etc.

We have just submitted an approved AEO (in February) to add to my application. I understand I should now hear within 6 months. Does this mean I will get an 'approved' or 'rejected' within 6 months? How long after that does it take to get everything finalised?

Thank you so much for your help.

Kind regards,
Hayley :D

What is AEO? It takes about two years max but it is based on your circumstances. It can be 6 months to 5 years.

Thanks for your reply. AEO is the arranged employment option.

Hayley,
How do you get the AEO? Do you have any websites I can look at?

Thanks
Jes

I worked here for a year on a working holiday visa and the company I was working for offered me a job.

why didn't you apply straight in CIC Canada or through Buffulo rather than London? I guess the US seems to be faster with processing times than the rest of the world. But anyway we will see and will update you with my progress.

My lawyer said it would probably be faster to go through London because that's where I'm from. I hope I hear something soon! Don't we all!!! :)
