I will be going for interview to UK. I have Tier 1 visa. What are the documents I should carry? I will be in UK just for 2 days

Is chest XRAY for TB screening critical?

Below are the documents I carried when I came here 2 weeks back.

- Chest x-ray and report, TB report
- All educational documents (original),
- work related documents ( joining letter, relieving letter, any awards received, certifications etc.. )
- Make sure you have the address & contact number in UK handy

Where do we need to show chest-xray and TB screening?
Do they have some guideline of how old maximum these medical test can be?
e.g. 'not older than 1 month' while entering UK etc.

Did you show them at airport itself to them?

First time traveller to the UK? No harm in carrying a chest X-ray in your handbag if you are a citizen of a country in the Indian subcontinent (other than the countries listed in the link above, for whom the report is mandatory). Your choice!

A chest x-ray and report will save time at the health counter in the UK so it is better to carry one in your handbag.

They will direct you at appropriate counters. It will just take a minute or two. They will ask for the xray and report.
