Hi What is the earliest and latest waiting period in weeks before UKBA notifies a Tier-1 applicant of its decision?

You are saying months and years, what if my current leave to remain expires in that time?
Is there any way to track my application online?

Thanks, my situation is like this. I am on Tier-2(intra company transfer) which expires on say, 15 Dec.I have made an in-country application for switching to Tier-1.
i.) If I get a rejection on my Tier-1 application before 15Dec, my company will still extend my Tier-2.
ii.) What happens if my Tier-1 application gets rejected after 15Dec? How much time would I have for my company to extend my Tier-2?

Post by sudhakar_barua » Fri Oct 08, 2010 12:48 pm

Anyhow, thanks to all for your help.
I and my wife applied for Tier-1 on 18th Sept, and received our Tier-1 visas on 4th Oct. Visa is valid for 2 years.

Thanks all!
