hi am new here jus joined here today hi to every one!!!!!
can sum one help plz i hav applied for my husbands visa!!! he have his case on 30/06/2010 and since then his status has been the same saying application forwarded to Islamabad OC on 06/30/2010 so then my husband sent an email to the mirpur office on 24th september asking wts happing abt the case they replied bk saying its under process!!! i dnt knw if it is or nt and its been 14week and were still waitng i just dnt knw wt is happing am really worried

I appLied fr my settLement visa on 12th JuLy 2010, N by Looking at tha statisitics, on average, BHC mostly contacts the employer exactly in the 12th week or after completion of 12th week N decision is then made roughLy after a week or so after contact with employer.

My 12th weeks elapsed on 4Th october, 2010 but so far they did not contact the employer, I am hoping to get the final reply in second week
of october cus on 15th of this month, 14 weeks will be over.

Though everything is planned by ALLah cus ALLah is the best planner
and He never lets his supreme creature down. So i can hope fr the best possibLe outcome very soon inshaLLah ...!!

Why dont you email the UKBA on the below email address, as most likely your application has been processed. My husband applied a few days before you on the th of 25th June in Mirpur and once 14 weeks passed i emailed them to find out ths status and was advised the application was processed on the 6th of Sept, took about 8/9 weeks to make decision, although my husband is still waiting for call/text to pick up passport.

Also has your employer been contacted?

I know it's very stressful and worrying but the best thing you can do is make dua coz at the end of the day everything is in Allah's hands.

Im reali confusd wt to do..my 12 weeks wil b 12th oct. I was on fixed term position ending in december..but i have been offered a new job which is permanent, due to start 8th november.

My current employer has still not been contacted..should i inform the home office of my new job offer or will it be too late as a decision may have been made based on my current job details..im confused!

I reckon your application will get processed before you start your new job, so they will contact your current employer if they do.

Why don't you email them once your 12 weeks are over to check on the status as it may get processed by then. Email them and see what they say. Goodluck

If the UKBA issues a calling letter to an applicant, how long does it take for the visa to be put onto the passport?

My initial visa application was refused due to insufficient information being provided, i provided this extra information and was told that the whole process would take around 10-12 months.
Therefore i submitted a new application on the 29th June to speed up the process.
It has now been 3 months since the visa application was submitted and i have heard nothing.

I don't know what to do!!

Your are right it is very stressful but have faith and inshallah you will hear good news soon. Have you tried emailing them, as it is most likely they have made a decision on your application, as my husband applied for his Visa on the 25th of June and on the 14th week i emailed them and they said a decision was made on the 6th of September, well over a month ago! Although we are still waiting to find out when we can pick up the passport.

Email them on the below address, and provide them with your details and if it has been processed they will be able to tell you.

Salaam to all

just to say that I have arrived back safely from my trip to Pakistan a few days ago. still trying to recover as most of you know everything becomes doubly hard to do in Paksitan.

In total I collected over £62000 myself along with my other two friends who collected a similar amaount, so in total we raised over £123,500.

We visited the north area of pakistan to distribute the funds to help people finacially, to rebuild their houses, distribute food packages, pay for medication and treatment of a number of serverly ill children, pay widows and orphans extra amounts of money because of their desperate needs.

In total we distributed a total over 50 lakh rupees to some 2000 people. This was after making exhaustive enquries and inspections of their damage to ensure that they were legitimate victims and that they were entitled to recieve zakat.

The rest of the money will be distributed to people in Punjab and Sindh when I go back again in 2 months time.

I will do a full report and along with videos and photos of our aid mission and hope to include it in my facebook homepage.

I would like to thank all those that donated to thios worthy cause and pray that. Allah reward you for your thoughts and remembrance of fellow Muslim brothers and sisters.

It will be some few days before I start to respond to peoples inquiries here, so please bear with me.

I heard someone say on here that they rang him at home, though i can't remember who it was! I do beleive that is quite rare and they contact the employer more, but again not everyones employer, they didn't contact mine. It depends on the type of company you work for i guess, but majority of employers do get contacted.

Best thing you can do is email them atleast you will know whether they have made a decision or not, they most likely have by now.

Inshallah i hope we hear some good news soon, this waiting is so hard - lol

Where ever your file is submitted its sent to Islamabad, They send file there and then its looked at by British High Commissions. Meaning its getting looked at.

I have, got a reply from one of his team members and they said they are going to chase it up for me, but god knows how long that is going to take!

Has your employer not been contacted yet?
