Hi Luck

I know its very hard but try to stay positive.

We've waited since June 2009 as my husbands original visa application was refused and we've had to go through the appeal process.

He finally handed in his passport in September.

By the time he gets here it will have been an 18 month wait.

I do believe however that the wating and stress makes us stronger so please don't worry.

Hi Yasmin, I don't know the number for Mirpur but this is the number for Islamabad Embassy 0092512012000 try these guys see if they have any info or if they can give you Mirpurs number.

Have you tried emailing them or have you chased your application up with UKBA again?

I reckon you will hear something next week inshallah

just go this arsy reply from them - they just sending out generic emails now... they can be bothered to even confirm whether they have received my updated employment letters!!!!!!!!!!

ALHUMDULILLAH my husband got his Visa!

As you all know I have been very worried and stressed as there was no employer contact and the decision was made pretty quick on the 6th of September (10th week), in total it took 16 weeks, not sure where the passport was for the last 6 weeks but all is good as he got the visa, the wait was definitely worth it!

Allah hu Akbar - I am so happy!

congrats to u yoda121 thatz great news.....they masallah gt bk to u quick only took 12 weeks.......as my husband is still waitng nw its been 15weeks and on tuesday it will be 16week i really hope we get an answer next week and its a postive answer inshallah after all this wait like zahida waited but allah has granted her great newz reli happy u both

Yeah, my paperwork was meticulous with some serious preparation and organisation gone into it.
Maybe that's why it was so quick.

it was some thing to do with the papers
that they refused it.
i am so upset.

However in the next few days it is really important you begin the preparations for the appeal. Seek legal advice and find out exactly why the application was refused.

This forum is great for support and can provide lots of help and advice.

If you care to publish the reason as per the refusal notice, we can try and help you overcome your problem.

Remenber you have to act quickly as you only have 28 days to preare and send the appeal.

Now is not the time to to feel upset and sorry for yourself. Doing this bit is more important than applying.
