Entry to UK after getting Tier 1 general visa

Post by ssm4u » Tue Oct 12, 2010 6:42 am

Hi,

I've got my Tier 1 general visa which is valid from 15thSep2010. I'm planning to travel to UK in the mid of Dec i.e 15 Dec 2010. I've the following doubts. Please help in clarifying them.

1. Is there any time limit within which I should travel to uk after getting my visa.

2. Will it be a problem when I apply for the Extension after 2 years.

3. Is there any clause which states how long I should be in UK to apply for an extension and indefinite leave to remain.

4. Is december/jan are good seasons to search for an IT job.

1. No such deadline.
2. I don't think so.
4. December is not the right time, most recruiters put positions on hold till January, wherefrom numerous opportunities would be coming up.
