Stamping for my new born baby

Post by santunup » Tue Apr 18, 2006 12:04 pm

Hi All,

I am an Indian citizen and currently in UK on a HSMP visa.
Can anyone let me know what is the procedure for getting the stamping for a new born baby?
I will be applying for my HSMP extension in mid august. Can I make his passport now and submit his passport along with ours for the extension? Or do I need to apply for his stamping separately before applying for the extension?

Regards,
Shantanu

Cheaper to apply with yourself at the August extension stage...

get the child its passport though ASAP..

Thanks Chess.

But is it fine just to have the passport and not have any visa for 4 months?

Wait for 4 months else you have to spend £335. Make a separate passport for a child and apply for the visa in August.

I just wanted to add that stamping on babies is not very nice and possibly illegal.

Sorry, couldn't resist.............
