Post by harsha1970 » Tue Apr 18, 2006 1:51 pm

:(
I got my HSMP in 01/08/2005. My extension will be due on 01/01/2005.Can I apply for extension now? What is the earliest date that I could apply for an extension. Is it before two months of the expiry date or within the last two months I should apply for an extension. Please clarify

With kind regards

As per the FLR guidance notes, you need to apply at least 4 or 5 weeks in advance from the date of your visa's expiry - no later than that. Many people submit their extension papers 2 months in advance and that is acceptable too - although no earlier than that.
