Spousal Work Permit - What is the minimum Contract Period?

Do any body know whether Spousal Work Permits would be issued or Contract Jobs and what is the minimum contract period required on the job offer letter? Is it 1 year?

Got official reply from Entemp.

"We do not issue Spousal Work Permits for Contract work, only Full Time Permanent positions."

My spouse has a spousal permit for part time work,
All they are doing now is making escuses not
To give more permits to spouses

They might have changed the rule recently.
