Can Tier-2(ICT) Visa go for settlement ?

One of my friend who has come here on Tier-2 (ICT) Visa in May 2009, Would he be eligible to apply for settlement/PR after completion his 5 year period ?

No one can predict for you today what the rules will be when the time comes for your friend to apply for settlement / probationary citizenship. But yes, under current rules, your friend can apply for settlement if the Tier 2 (ICT) leave was issued before 06-Apr-10. ((245ZH(b)(x)(2))
