DISCRETIONARY LEAVE ( VINNY AND OTHERS PLEASE HELP)

After waiting for over 5 years I was finally given 3 year Discretionary Leave. Because of my case as I ran away from an abusive relationship from my country (Zimbabwe) and am now married to a British national its risk for me to go back home at the moment. I would like to find out if its possible for me to go to a neighbouring country like South Africa or Zambia and apply for a spouse visa.
