I have different view, I was forgotten by the Home Office for 8 months for my case to solved, as soon as I involved the my MP I got a postive reply within 3 weeks after that, bu law, the home office has to reply to your MP whather this will make the process shorter or not another think, but they have to reply to your MP, means a bit of push, this is my personal opinoin, others might have different view.

I believe the MP does help but not so sure about the process time.

My solicitor has advised to me to get a supporting letter from my local MP to help with my hubby's refusal hearing.

So MP does help in cases.
