Tier 1 Dependant Visa refusal for my newborn son

Post by Rucha Hazarika » Mon Nov 08, 2010 7:17 am

Hi,

I applied for my son's visa from VFS Kolkata on 14th September 2010.
The Entry clearance was refused on 30th Sept. because:
1. The ECO was not satisfied that the mother had Entry clerance to the UK because I did not submitt my passport and visa copy
2. One out of the three bank statements was a internet printout but was not stamped by the bank..

I have sent the appeal formon 11th october along with the refusal letter and the missing documents. Got a acknoledgement from BHC Delhi on 26th october. Iam now waiting for a decision on my appeal

Does anyone know how long the process takes. when will they let me know if the refusal is overturned or not.[/list]

Appeal can take months to reach a decision. Understandably, they will let you know whether or not the refusal will be overturned only after a decision on your appeal is arrived at.
