Description of Net Deposit differs

Post by sriatkrish » Wed Nov 10, 2010 8:00 am

One of my friend has come accross an issue with his previous earnings proofs:
In his Salary Bank Account's Statement, description for his April month's salary is given as below:

Date:30/04/10
Description:SALARY CR FOR MAR10
Deposit Amount:XXXXXX.00

where as the above deposit amount is for month of April 2010 and the same is mentioned in payslip of April 2010.

The guidance does not mention the details which have to be available in the statement.

Unfortunately, he is facing this.

But as far as I understand, any EC Officer would try to match the Net deposited salary of each month of the claim period of the Payslip with that in Bank Statement through the description of Transaction in Bank Statement.

Has anyone of you or your friends faced this during Application process. Please throw some light.

Shouldnt be a problem as long as the amount credited into bank and the net salary figure on the salary slip match.
