ILR docs

Post by elsa » Sun Nov 14, 2010 2:39 pm

Dear all,

My husband's ILR is due on July 2011. He is working full time since 4 years. We would like to know what are the documents required? For ex:how many months of bank statements and payslips are we supposed to submit. Is it 6 (or) 3 months? Can you pls give details of other relevant docs as well.

Do we need to show any maintanence funds at the time of submission. He is under HSMP tier 1 and came to UK during July 2006.

Thanks,
Elsa

please use search function to look for existing post rather than just posting new questions....all questions have been clearly answered in the form and the SET(o) form clearly specifies all minimum document required...

Dear Sushdmehta,

Just wanted to confirm, For any ILR application we do not have to show a set minimum balance, whatever may be your eligible limited leave to remain be under ( WP, HSMP, HSMP JR,Student, tier 1 and tier 2). The minimum balance is only applicable for limited / further leave to remain applications under PBS . (800 Pounds for main and 553 for dependent).

As long as you are able maintain yourself without claiming any sort of benifits you should not have a problem.

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Shri

Elsa!
You fall into the following category:

"Migrants who applied to the highly skilled migrant programme between 3 April 2006 and 7 November 2006"

The documents needed are:
1. Photographs
2. Passports of entry & showing current FLR (and any expired ones where your date of entry is shown)
3. Birth certificate of dependant child
4. Marriage certificate of dependant spouse
5. Funds to maintain yourself & family (there are no set amount of funds; but the evidences via bank statements and/or wage slips covering a period of THREE months.
6. Letter of employment (including permanent role, annual sal, and date of joining etc).

Note: You are not required to take the Life in the UK Test as you are benefited by the HSMP JR judgement.
