Maintenance Fund Tier 1 General Extension

Hi
This is my first post and have query about the maintenance fund. I understand that one need 800 pounds over the 3 months. I will be applying for extension on March 15th 2011 with my wife and child as dependent.

does this mean i need to maintain 2400 pounds from december 2010 onwords?

It means i need to have 800+533+533 for three months on every single day. I do have£3000 in my account since last 3 months but i also have a credit card outsatanding of £5000 for which i pay out the minimum payment from the same bank account. Does this debt matter towards maintenance fund?

no the cc debt doesnt matter, u could even take a personal loan and use that. just dont run yourself into too much debt
