Maintenance of funds - what proof I should use?

Post by shyamsai » Mon Oct 11, 2010 4:31 am

Hi All,

Can someone tell me what proof I should use of maintenance of funds?

HDFC statement(dot matrix sheet) with stamp & sign is enough or do I need to take a letter from the bank along with the statement?

Can someone pass on what would be the letter content?

Thanks
Sai

The printer (dot matrix, inkjet, laser or line) on which the statement is printed is irrelevant. What is relevant is that the statement fulfils the conditions specified in the policy guidance.

Reading the policy guidance will help.

Hi

You need both the statements and letter from bank confirming funds. Go for e-statements if the Dot matrix printer is not having bank logo and details.
Get the letter from the bank on the bank letter head and also make sure if you submit e-statements get the details in the bank letter that statements are authenticated by them and signed and stamped on each page.
