HSMP extension with job offer in hand

Post by Grateful Dead » Sun Apr 30, 2006 1:24 pm

Hi

I have a job offer in hand which is conditional in my submitting HSMP extension before joining

My 1 yr HSMP visa expires end of July 06.

My question is - can I apply for HSMP extension now, which will be about 2 months and 3 weeks in advance of current HSMP visa expiry and explain in cover letter the reason for early application

Views of members, moderators, experts will be much appreciated

Regards

2 months and 3 weeks in advance you risk the possibility of the application being returned back to you unprocessed as its too early.

You can call up the FLR team and explain your position. If they agree, then you can send in your application with a covering letter. Their telephone number is on the FLR(IED) form in the guidance section.

Thanks MWazir!

Will emailing Home Office with my query be a better idea. Atleast then I can enclose copy of this email when I make the application

Wait for your response
