Hello All,

I do need ur help. I have a mate that has been a dependant of a work Permit holder. they have been married for 3 yrs. She has just been given indefinite leave to remain.
What are the options for him? Can he apply for FLR(M),or continue with his Dependant Visa(WP).
Can he apply for IND LTR,after 4 years?
Does he need to take the new English test?

he should have applied with his wife and he would have been issued with ILR also. he can apply for FLR (M) which will give him a further 2 years on a spouse visa. after completing this he then can apply for ILR. yes he will need to pass english test requirements.

Would he have been issued with ILR if he had applied at the same time?
Even thou He had only been a dependant on her visa for 3 years.
