Applying for ILR on work permit, wife on Tier 1!

Post by pumbatimon » Tue Nov 23, 2010 3:15 pm

HI All,

I am qualifying for my ILR in FEB 2010. My wife came to this country on a TIER1 general visa, 3 years back. We thought it was a good idea at that time!

Since we can show proof that she has been in this country for 3 years and is married to me, is t possible for her to be included in my application as a dependent for ILR?

Many thanks in advance!

Balaji

If you are in UK as a WP migrant, then she may be eligible for settlement at the same time as you if she changes her immigration status to that of your dependant. This can only be done by applying for entry clearance (from outside UK) as a dependant of WP migrant.
