shouldn't be if your company gives you a letter detailing this mechanism!Niroshana wrote:Dear All,
I am planning to apply Tier 1 General this month.
But i have doubt over my earnings, as I have been receiving my salary from my company in two methods.
I get automate salary transfer from my company and also a cheque.
Actually my salary is credited to my bank account, and as a allowance i am getting another cheque.
But i have this total amount mentioned on my payslips.
Will it be a problem, when i apply Tier 1 General ?
Please, your comments are highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Yes, if you do not have a 2nd independent documentary evidence for the allowances/earnings paid to you by cheque.Niroshana wrote:Actually my salary is credited to my bank account, and as a allowance i am getting another cheque.

Why is the letter needed when the earnings paid by cheque are reflected in the payslips? And what purpose would the letter serve?thelionking wrote:shouldn't be if your company gives you a letter detailing this mechanism!
cheque obviously is deposited in the bank, so should reflect on bank statement as well, so second support could be that ... unless they are issuing cash cheques, and he has been cashing them.sushdmehta wrote:Yes, if you do not have a 2nd independent documentary evidence for the allowances/earnings paid to you by cheque.Niroshana wrote:Actually my salary is credited to my bank account, and as a allowance i am getting another cheque.

Salary transferred to bank = Payslip + bank statements
Allowances paid by cheque = Payslip + ?

the letter would explain why one employer, one job pays two salaries every month ... instead of confusing the eco, the clearer you can present the better for him.sushdmehta wrote:Why is the letter needed when the earnings paid by cheque are reflected in the payslips? What the OP needs is explained in the response above.

yeah, i thought so about the cheque ...Niroshana wrote:Sorry if i made you unclear about my issue.
01. Salary is Credited to Bank Account.
02. Allowance (Production Allowance - which varies depending on the company profit of the month) is given as Cheque.
My Payslip shows Salary + Allowance
Company has paid my Income Tax for both Allowances & Salary.
Also i can ask my company to give me the detail breakdown of this amount in their official letter head.
Actual reason is Production Allowances are not fixed. So it's not possible for the company to include it on the automated salary system.
After looking at the Monthly PNL, they decide what is the percentage that they are going to offer to Employees.
Hope all these facts give clear picture about my case to HO.
Salary : Payslip + Bank Statement + Tax Return Certificate
Allowance : Payslip + Bank Statement + Tax Return Certificate
** Cheque is Accounts Payee, So it was deposited on my Bank Account.
