Tier 1 Dependant Visa, required guidance.

Post by krishna153 » Sun Nov 28, 2010 11:00 am

Hi,

I got my tier1 Visa Aug 2010.
I came to UK on Oct 2010 and working and working on permanant Position in UK since Nov 2010.
Currently I am living with my friend in his house and don't have tenancy agreement on my name.

Now I would like to apply for my dependants(Wife and 2 kids and staying in India). Planning to apply in Dec 1st week. By that time I have only one pay stub.
Can any body guide me through on list of documents and proofs require to apply for dependants.

Funds maintenance:
I think reuquired funds are: 800 + 1600*3 = GBP 5600/-

I am thinking following documents are required.
But I don't have few of them. Would like to know the alternatives for them.

- VAF 10 form filled
- Wife passport
- Kids original passport
- Birth certificate of kids
- Bank statement for past 3 months (I have funds maintained in India)
- Payslips(I will only one paystub)
- Tenancy agreement (I don't have this)
- Any bills on accommodation on my name( I don't have any)
- Marriage certificate
- Copy of my passport and visa pages
- Employer reference letter letter stating I am an employee in the UK
- Sponsor letter from me

Thanks
Krishna

I can only say that you would definitely need a tenancy agreement or a contract or willingness from some relative or friend that he would let you live in his house which has enough bedrooms to accomodate your whole family. They would also need bills etc in your name. I am afraid without proper accomodation they might not consider giving them visa at all. I would suggest to get a house on rent asap with enough bedrooms to accomodate your family.

Good luck
