Hi there,
My question is related to the student visas where the course is less than 6 months (it's 1 month actually, 15 hours per week).
My sister, who lives in Bulgaria, is planning to come to London under a student visa and to try to improve her English. She already has a visitor visa which expires in October this year so basically she would not need additional visa to study here for such a short period.
But the thing is that she would like to work as well (part-time, 20 hours per week) in order to save some money for the last year of her education in Bulgaria (and also to practice her English in more natural environment than school only). I know that it could be difficult for her to obtain a student visa with a permission to work for a course less than 6 months, bust she will try.
So my question is, in case she is refused a student visa in this circumstances, would this refusal invalidate her current visitor visa or she would be still allowed to come to the UK (well, without the right to work but just to enjoy herself for the summer)?
Many thanks in advance!
