After all the roadblocks the MoJ put in front of people getting permanent status in this country is it any wonder that there are people trying to get some permanence in their working life and enter into a marriage of convenience, so some inbred, dearly beloved ashtray cant rip them from the life they've created over many years.
The second part of this red herring on sham marriages is to create a class of workers that have no rights and can be called in when "local" workers begin to really fight back against the wealthy and political elite in this country.
It's the old "divide and conquer" strategy and wether you are an Irish worker or a migrant worker it is in your interest to stand in solidarity with your fellow workers and fight this dearly beloved nonsense. Otherwise they will kick the shit out of all of us workers.
Only that sham marriages will give immigrants a bad name, well done clever clogs.
How convenient, no reference to women going into a marriage to any tom dick and harry due to financial/poverty reasons. Yours a real class act aye.
Unless you are amazingly self involved i think you will find a superior majority of concentration is over the people who have created this economic crisis as oppose to immigration issues, never mind sham marriages. I also think you will find department of justice has nothing to do with finance or the economy.
May I ask what road blocks are there for "permanent" residency? You mean citizenship? or the EU form? What roadblocks are there for demanding absolute documentary proofs that the couples lived in the host state for the full 5 years and worked etc?
"inbred, dearly beloved ashtray "? And your all PC clever? ha you have made comments on other websites and was knocked out of the park with that kind of lark. Inbred? that one is good

Class power eh? really why not go on now and set up your class/workers revolution. Talk about typical commi/socialist/chip on shoulder guff. No such thing as redress to courts and access to legal advice then
I don't see how marriage will stop the EU person from working
What beloved? You think the nationals will put their jobs at risk? When was the last time you worked here? (are you working?)
