Can I ask my employer to pay me more in advance to qualify?

Hi there,

I recently changed my employer and they pay me more than my previous one. Therefore, I will be very close to the current Tier1(G) salary requirement in 2-3 month time but sill not enough.

Would it be feasible and legal to ask my current employer to pay me more in these 2-3 months and pay me less afterwards so that I can get T1(G) in time without him to worry too much about T2(G) after April 2011!
