can I stay longer after the expiry of my course ...

I have a 6 months Student visa MULTI entry from November 2010 to Mai 2011
I have attended 1 month English course which will be over on the 12th of December.
My return ticket is for the 12th of December also
My question is:

Can I stay untill the 30th of December for the festive period, go back home and then come back again on March 2011 for 2 months English course?

Please advice, Thank you!!!!

As long as I know, a valid visit visa is a legal permission to stay till 180 days.
