applying for permanent residence 6 months before

Post by boloney » Wed Dec 01, 2010 9:21 pm

is it possible to send application 6 months before completing 5 years?
my wife is a8 national, she will be eligible for PR next year, trouble is she is on maternity leave, she still gets the payslips, but 2-3 months before she complete 5 years she will don`t get pay any more(she still will be on maternity leave, but last few weeks are not paid)so she will don`t get payslips for last few weeks.
how can we proof that she is in the UK, and qualify for PR?
I was thinking if we submit form few months before she complete 5 years there will be no issue, will the HO accept application with cover for 4 years and 9 months, will that be enough for them to granted PR?
many thanks for help

Typically UKBA will ask for bank statement and utility invoices in the name of your spouse. Also all the entries and exits are stamped into the passport.

Your wife should also receive statuory maternity pay:

If she is not entitled to statuory pay, I also suggest that you get a letter from your wife's employer confirming maternity leave as of xx/xx/xx.

trouble are bank don`t send statements on her name, they just print my name, account is joint.utility bills don`t came by post, thay just send as an email with the information that bill is ready :)
i will look if I can change it :)
thanks
she is on SMP now, but last 13 weeks are not paid, so will be no payslips.
we will probably get letter of her employer.
she is A8, so she don`t get any stamps in the passport.
thanks again
